The shared living areas were well-kept and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding the herberge.One particular highlight was the outstanding breakfast provided each morning, boasting homemade treats that added a personal touch to the meal. The option for a home-cooked dinner was convenient, with generous portions that impressed even my son.The location near a fascinating ruined monastery added a historical charm to our stay, offering a glimpse into the local heritage. However, the absence of a refrigerator in the kitchen area was a minor inconvenience.Munkeby Herberge offers good value for the amenities provided, especially for guests looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside with comfortable accommodation and personalized service.
